We fished the South Fork yesterday( my usual crew see photo below) from Husky’s to Spring Creek Bridge.  The river was around 8000 cfs and it  fished okay.  Palisades Creek was running over the top and dumping in a ton of off colored water.  River left was clear and fish-able all the way to Irwin Foot Bridge.  Rainey Creek and Fall Creek were also running mud so by the time we made Spring Creek  Bridge the river was off colored even more, but I think it would  still be fish-able.

We fished streamers (black was the color) all the way and was able to catch our share of nice fish.  The  photo below is Parker(rowing) after I just landed a Brown Trout around 19 inches.  As you can see he doesn’t like dad to catch the biggest fish of the day.

I wanted to leave you with one last photo.  Check out the snow on Baldy Mountain… just think what is on the back side.
