Scott Hed, the organizer for Sportsmans Alliance For Alaska (the group behind the anti-pebble mine stickers) just sent out this email that details how a few mouse clicks and minutes can help raise $50,000.

Hey folks,

Not sure if you’ve seen this deal.  SAA is participating in a “no strings attached” fundraising contest online sponsored by eBay.  Over $50K is up for grabs to the top 30 organizations receiving the most votes.  Right now SAA is sitting at #33.

Contest ends on June 22, so less than a week to make a big push.  All folks need to do is visit the contest site and vote for SAA.  If they send out through their Facebook network, etc. they can earn more votes.  Additional votes can be earned by making a donation (10 votes for every $10).

If you could post on your site for a few days, on Facebook, or any of the fishing boards you frequent, that might help spread the word and collect some votes (and hopefully some $$).  Of course, Tweeting is acceptable too.
